One of Chris's old paintings!
I was contacted by someone working for a homeless charity in St. Albans, England, close to where I used to live. The charity is called Emmaus and they have acquired this painting. I painted this 30 years ago. It's called Randolph's Leap, a place in Scotland that I visited while holidaying.
They wish to sell it with all proceeds going towards the charity, and I wanted to show it here in case anybody wishes to make an offer for it. If you are interested, click their link or I can put you in direct contact with the charity, and they can arrange for it to be shipped to wherever you are. It's for a very worthy cause and I'd like to think that my painting can contribute towards it.
If I were to paint something of this size today, I would ask $275.00 Canadian, about 150.00 pounds sterling, but my skill as an artist has improved over the years :-)
You may offer whatever you like, but please bear in mind the packing and shipping costs which the charity will have to deal with.
It is a watercolour framed under glass with a thin wood frame and a dark green/grey mat board, easy to re-frame if you wish. Framed it measures about 19"x15" and the image is about 14.5"x10.75". I will not say who buys it or for how much, I will only say that it has been sold.
If you like it, please give it a good home :-)
