This painting depicts the original top that Freddie Mercury tried on at Dame Zandra Rhodes studio. It turned into the most iconic top Freddie wore for many shows.
Chris has produced a limited edition of just 25 prints of this painting with 10% of sales going to the charity set up in honour of Freddie Mercury, the Mercury Phoenix Trust.
Includes a certificate of authenticity signed by the designer, Dame Zandra Rhodes
Depicting the original top designed by Dame Zandra Rhodes
and tried on by Freddie Mercury who fell in love with the piece.
Zandra developed it into the most iconic white pleated top worn by Freddie
during many performances with Queen.
Measuring 26”x36” (66 x 91.5 cm)
Plus white borders of 2" and 3" (5 and 7.6 cm) along the bottom. Total size 30"x 41" (76 x 104 cm)
Printed on high quality cold press paper and archival inks
